A Haunted House and an Old Chapel
Come visit the Whaley House in Old Town as well as the Adobe Chapel. The Social Committee has planned an outing to visit both of these places on Wednesday, July 10. The Whaley House was built by Thomas Whaley in 1857 and has had many uses besides being a family home. It has been a live theater as well as a courthouse, and it is considered to be haunted. Come with us and learn all the details. We also will visit the Adobe Chapel that became a church in 1858. Both of these sites are now under the stewardship of SOHO (Save Our Heritage Organization). See flyer for more details about time, reservations, and lunch. There is a $4.00 fee.
