Hikes with Bob

Two hour/two mile (Tierrasanta Canyons), Northwestern Canyons Loop:

We gather in the Vons shopping center near the outside ATM, near Santo Road. We visit canyons north of Serra high school & west of Santo Road. This route pieces together various park, open space, & private walkways to give an interesting view of this lightly visited section of our community. Long pants & a walking stick are recommended. Some spare sticks are available to use.


Introductory one hour/one mile hikes are scheduled every year in November, February, & May. .... People trying to break into the day hike program have an easy entry on these events. Also, those who are disabled can often manage these activities. .... The idea is not to push hard; but to get outdoors, see the beauty around us, and do light exercise.
