The monthly member meeting is a wonderful opportunity to visit with other members and hear important updates from our Committee Leaders and Board Members.
The presenter at the meeting will be a representative from Elder Law & Advocacy (ELA). Elder Law & Advocacy is a non-profit organization that provides free or low-cost legal services and health insurance counseling to seniors. They offer assistance with issues like elder abuse, landlord/tenant problems, public benefits, Medicare, and estate planning, and can prepare documents such as simple wills, advance healthcare directives, and power of attorney. The presentation at the January meeting will focus on Medicare.
