Presenters from the County of San Diego Scam and Fraud Education Support Team and the AARP Fraud Watch Network will break down how scammers think, the psychological tactics they use to create urgency and trust, and practical steps to protect yourself and loved ones. Through real-life examples, you’ll build your fraud-prevention toolkit and understand where to turn for recovery, reporting, and ongoing support—empowering you to fight back with confidence.
