2 hour/2+ mile (Tierrasanta Canyons), Shepherd Canyon Loop (counter clockwise - community pond to Vallarta Drive). 
On Fri, 06 Apr 2018 (first Friday), we gather at 9 AM. (Go  on Santo Road past the Von's shopping center, turn right on Antiqua Road. At the next right turn, go east on Playa Veracruz to just-past the Playa Encino intersection to where there's a gate on the right. Stop/park.) The route has mostly 6 foot wide utility roads, plus some 3 foot wide paths. You're mostly In canyons (East Shepherd, then by connecting trails over to North Shepherd); there should be water down in the stream beds making the area lush.
